This app is based on the fourth, revised Dutch edition which again is a translation of the sixth American pressure.The app provides a structured classification of nursing diagnoses and interventions.
The main features of the NIC are:• completeness: more than 550 interventions, of which 23 are completely new and 133 revised interventions;• evidence based;• developed from the existing practice;• reflects current clinical practice and recent research;• clear and clinically meaningful terminology;• tested in the field;• combined with the NANDA diagnoses (2012-2014 NANDA-I).Nursing interventions contributes to adequate education in clinical decision making.
